Only the Devil Speaks Indian” included in program celebrating Native American Month at Museum of Tolerance in LA.

From the website:  “On November 8th the Museum of Tolerance Family Sunday program honored Native American Heritage Month with Native American traditional music, powwow dancing, storytellers, crafts, short films by Native Americans and other activities and performances.  Approximately 1,000 visitors to the Museum enjoyed the Family Sunday program..."

"...A festival of Native American films included short films and documentaries from the Los Angeles Skins Festival, the Sundance Institute’s Native American and Indigenous Program, Tâpwê Production Projects and the Southern California Indian Center’s Creative Spirit Script-to-Screen Initiative."

SWEET CHARIOT - 2009

Second Annual Concert of Spirituals

 

Tâpwê produced a concert DVD earlier this year as a follow up to

Tâpwê’s 2008 album production of

"sweet chariot - a concert of spirituals"

recorded by Indiggo Child’s Joe Wize.

Sung by LaTanya Hutchins, Soprano

presented at the St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church in Hoboken, NJ

on Feb. 16, 2008 in honor of Black History month.

 

The Second Annual Concert DVD

was video taped February 21, 2009  by Tâpwê

at St. Matthew Trinity Lutheran Church in honor of Black History month

and was produced for Ms. Hutchins.
