MACHISTÉ QUINTANA - Taino
As the Vice President of Performing
Arts, Machisté
brings to
Tâpwê an
extensive theatre background with over 30 years as an actor,
playwright and director.
This original New Yorker counts
among his many TV credits prime time roles on SPENSER FOR HIRE
and THE EQUALIZER, as well as running roles on the
daytime soaps, THE GUIDING LIGHT, THE CAITLIN’S and
ANOTHER WORLD.
His voice has been heard in
numerous narrations including PBS’ ‘DANCE IN AMERICA, A SONG FOR
A DEAD WARRIOR’, the NOVA series ‘LET MY PEOPLE LIVE’,
the documentary ‘THE SPIRIT OF THE KUNA YALA’ and the
NATURE series ‘LAND OF THE EAGLE.’
He was a director and taught playwriting for the
Danisarté
Theatre Group for many years.
Included in Machisté's
many
stage directing credits are plays like E. Claude Richard's
REDSTONE.
He is a highly
skilled script doctor and is currently enjoying working with a
number of up and coming playwrights.
